#Lifehack: Photo Cropping

Have you ever wanted to upload an image onto social media, but auto-cropping software distorts the picture or crops in too far? (Folks with Verlocal sometimes have this issue uploading banner photos, and I know I did before Instagram updated their photo editing software.) Here's a simple hack on how to make your portrait picture fit into a landscape format!

Just open the image (any photo editing software should do), crop out some space on the sides you wish, and voilá! You've beat the system.

For Apple Photo Editor (or any basic image editing software that comes on your computer):

To take a screenshot, press Shift+Command+4, and click and drag the area you'd like to capture!
