The Summer Fancy Food Show is one of the biggest events in the food industry. Taking place at the Javits Center each year, thousands of people gather to learn about the innovation of the industry and what’s “hot” in the world of food. This year, we were invited to attend the show as press, taking notes on some of the over 2,500 vendors.
We woke up bright and early to get to the festival as soon as it opened at 10 am and stayed until it closed at 5pm. Sadly, we couldn’t finish the entire show in seven hours, but we tried our best. Although after a while many vendors began to look the same, there were so many others that stood out. We couldn’t eat as much as we wanted, but still wanted to try everything so we came home with heavy duffel bags full of samples. Even though the show was last month, we’re still going through samples and gathering our favorites foods to share with you in a post soon. I know you want to read it already, but there are just too many to go through!
